Bill Eckstrom is the founder and CEO of EcSell Institute, the world’s first and only organization to measure and quantify leadership effectiveness. He is considered one of the world’s top authorities in metric-based performance coaching and growth. His book, The Coaching Effect, coauthored by EcSell Institute president Sarah Wirth, helps leaders at all levels understand the necessity of challenging people out of their comfort zone to create high-growth organizations.

Bill’s primary passion is growth. He is an expert in change management and discomfort, as made popular in his viral TEDx Talk “Why Comfort Will Ruin Your Life.” As a keynote speaker, Bill has presented to hundreds of groups and is a popular guest on podcasts and shows around the world.

  1. Wow, Bill is right, you have a great way of asking questions that incorporate feelings. I met Bill via email back in February 2019 when I had to resign from my teaching job because a special ed student hit me. I came across his TedxTalk and he gave me permission to spin it towards parents in my blog (Comfort Can Ruin Your Child’s Growth). Since I was finishing up my parenting book, Parenting Scholar Athletes, it became a chapter. Hopefully when I self-publish it soon, we can talk about it. I feel parents today during this pandemic need my 4 keys in an angelic manner to help raise their children. You have a great podcast & wonderful demeanor. Congratulations.
